Courtesy of AXS TVSteve Winwood and REO Speedwagon are among the artists who will be featured on a new weekly series of concert specials that will air next month on the high-def channel AXS TV.
AXS TV Concerts Presented by Mercury Insurance will premiere this Wednesday, November 1, at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT with a program documenting a show Winwood played in September at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California.
Among the many tunes Steve performed at the event were his solo hit “Higher Love,” the Spencer Davis Group classic “Gimme Some Lovin'” and the Blind Faith gem “Can’t Find My Way Home.”
REO Speewagon will appear on the next episode of the series, premiering Wednesday, November 8, at the same time. The show captures an August 2017 show at the Lakeview Amphitheater in Syracuse, New York, which found the veteran rockers performing hits like “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” “Take It on the Run” and “Keep On Loving You.”
The series will wind down with shows on November 15 and November 22 featuring, respectively, Nickelback and Hootie and the Blowfish frontman Darius Rucker.
