UMe/A&M RecordsSoundgarden‘s 1991 album Badmotorfinger turns 25 this year, and the band is celebrating with a “super deluxe” reissue. The seven-disc collection includes, among many other things, a DVD of Soundgarden’s performance at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre back in 1992. As a preview of the DVD, the band has released a live video for their performance of “Searching with My Good Eye Closed,” which you can watch now on YouTube.
If the seven-disc Badmotorfinger sounds too ambitious for you, Soundgarden is also reissuing the album as a two-CD collection, which includes audio recordings of the Paramount show, and as a two-LP vinyl set.
The 25th anniversary Badmotorfinger reissue will be released in all of its various formats on November 18.
