Scott Stapp has announced a charity livestream to benefit ChildFund International and its COVID-19 relief fund, which supports vulnerable children amid the pandemic.
The performance will air Thursday night at 8:30 p.m. ET via the Creed frontman’s social media channels.
“ChildFund gives kids a fighting chance to overcome the realities they were born into,” says Stapp.
“They play a crucial role in all aspects of their lives — housing, nutrition, health, education — from infancy to young adulthood and they integrate job training as these kids grow,” he adds.
“What a gift that is to these children and what a relief for their parents, who have to struggle for the basics we take for granted.”
Stapp previously partnered with ChildFund for the video to his solo song “Wake Up Call.”
