Ringo Starr to attend benefit gala honoring Joe Walsh for his work helping support recovery from addiction

Myriam Santos; Scott Robert RichieLongtime Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh and his wife, Marjorie, will be honored by the Facing Addiction with NCADD organization at a private gala held October 8 at Rainbow Room & Bar65 in New York City’s famed Rockefeller Plaza. Ringo Starr and his wife, Barbara Bach, who is Marjorie Walsh’s sister, are among the celebs who will attend the event.

Joe and his wife will be recognized for their philanthropic efforts helping individuals and families deal with the issues of alcoholism and addiction.

Other stars that will attend the gala include Michael McDonald and country star Vince Gill, who last year became a touring member of The Eagles. The event will feature a dinner and acoustic tribute performances.

Facing Addiction with NCADD is a nonprofit charity recently created by the merger of Facing Addiction and the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, and carries on both organizations work toward ending the addiction crisis affecting so many Americans.
