Credit: Scott Robert RitchieLast year, Ringo Starr revealed that he was interested in playing a Las Vegas residency with his All Starr Band — and now the ex-Beatles drummer has confirmed plans to do just that this fall. The star-studded group has lined up an eight-date engagement at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino that runs from October 13 through October 28.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public starting this Friday, March 31, at 10 a.m. PT, and can be purchased at the Planet Hollywood box office, via phone by calling 800-745-3000 and online at Ticketmaster.com. Pre-sale tickets will be available beginning Wednesday, March 29, at 10 a.m. PT.

Following the Las Vegas stand, Ringo and his All Starr Band have confirmed 11 U.S. tour dates that are mapped out through a November 16 concert in Newark, New Jersey. Among the other cities the trek will visit are El Paso and Austin, Texas; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; and New York City. Additional shows will be announced soon.

The group continues to feature the same lineup it’s had for the last few years — Todd Rundgren, founding Santana singer/keyboardist Gregg Rolie, Toto guitarist Steve Lukather, Mr. Mister singer/bassist Richard Page, drummer Gregg Bissonette, and multi-instrumentalist Warren Ham.

“The dream is still unfolding,” says Ringo in a statement. “I love to play, and I love to play with this band. I can’t say that enough, and we’re on the road again.”
