Warner Bros. Records Red Hot Chili Peppers have shared “The Getaway,” the title track from their forthcoming 11th studio album. The slinky tune features a dreamy chorus and a requisite mention of California. You can listen to “The Getaway” now on YouTube.
The title track is the second song to be released from The Getaway, following lead single “Dark Necessities.” The album will be released June 17.
Last weekend, Red Hot Chili Peppers made their return to the stage following frontman Anthony Kiedis‘ bout with what they said was intestinal flu. The band will continue their tour this weekend at the BottleRock festival in California, followed by a trip to Europe.
