Red Hot Chili Peppers celebrate Halloween with surprise school performance

Credit: Steve KerosThe students of the Viewpoint School in Calabasas, California, got a Halloween treat on Wednesday when none other than the Red Hot Chili Peppers showed up.

While dressed in costumes, Anthony Kiedis and company made a surprise appearance during an assembly, and played their 2002 track “Can’t Stop.” You can watch the performance now via the Viewpoint School’s Facebook page.

Both Kiedis and drummer Chad Smith have kids who are students at Viewpoint.

In addition to playing surprise school shows, the Chili Peppers are also working on new music. Their most recent album is 2016’s The Getaway.
