Randy Bachman to Perform at Canadian Benefit Concert for Victims of Fort McMurray Forest Fires

Credit: Callianne BachmanEx-Guess Who and Bachman-Turner Overdrive member Randy Bachman will take care of some charitable business on June 29 when he joins a variety of other Canadian music stars to perform at a benefit concert called Fire Aid for Fort McMurray. The show, which will be held at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Canada, will raise money to help people and businesses in the city of Fort McMurray and the municipality of Wood Buffalo affected by the devastating forest fires that recently hit the area.

Modern rockers Nickelback will headline the concert, which also will feature performances by Blue Rodeo, folk veteran Ian Tyson and The Sadies, among others. All proceeds raised from the show will be donated to the Fort McMurray United Way for use in support of the city’s rebuilding efforts.

Tickets for Fire Aid for Fort McMurray go on sale Monday, May 30, at 10 a.m. MT, and will be available via Ticketmaster.ca or by calling 1-855-985-50001-855-985-5000 FREE.
