ABC/Randy HolmesThis past Father’s Day, Chris Cornell‘s daughter Toni shared a recording of her and her late father covering the Prince-penned song “Nothing Compares 2 U,” popularized by Sinead O’Connor. It’s now available for download, and Toni announced that her proceeds will be donated to the International Rescue Committee, a humanitarian aid and relief organization.

“My father taught me to be a voice for others who don’t have one,” says Toni. “Especially with the tragic events happening today, where children are being separated from their parents at the border, it is not okay. Please help us keep the promise (on behalf of the world’s most vulnerable children) for my father.”

The Cornell family has previously worked closely with the International Rescue Committee, and Chris donated his proceeds from his song “The Promise,” which was released two months before his death in May 2017, to the organization.

Toni’s announcement comes a day before World Refugee Day, June 20, which was also an important day for her father. The video for “The Promise” was released posthumously on last year’s World Refugee Day, which Chris had requested prior to his death.
