The Finnish Police’s campaign to root out the grey economy by asking people to report pizza sold for under 6 euros has not lead to any convictions after over four months. In a controversial move that garnered international attention and was eventually branded “pizzagate”, the police encouraged citizens to snitch on businesses offering cheap pizza as part of a crackdown on tax dodgers.
