Erika Goldring/Getty ImagesFounding Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh has been confirmed to play two nights during the 2016 edition of the Lockn’ festival, which is scheduled from August 25 to August 28 at Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, Virginia. Lesh will be playing with two completely different lineups of his Phil Lesh & Friends collective on the final two days of the event.

On Saturday, August 27, the 76-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will be joined by Phish drummer Jon Fishman and keyboardist Page McConnell; Joe Russo, one-time drummer for the Dead spinoff group Furthur; and acoustic bluegrass band The Incredible Stringdusters. On Sunday, August 28, Lesh will team up with ex-Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson‘s current group, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, while acclaimed blues-rock guitarist Gary Clark Jr. will sit in during the set. Chris Robinson Brotherhood and Clark also will play their own sets that same day.

The 2016 Lockn’ festival’s headliners will be Ween on August 25, Phish on August 26 and 28, and My Morning Jacket on August 27. Other artists scheduled to perform during the four-day extravaganza include J. Geils Band singer Peter Wolf, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Umphrey’s McGee  and reggae greats The Wailers.
