According to Rolling Stone, the Pearl Jam guitarist will issue a photo book this May, titled Of Potato Heads and Polaroids: My Life Inside and Out of Pearl Jam. The title references the Mr. Potato Head toy McCready has been carrying with him that shows up in many of the photos.

The book consists of shots taken by McCready on Pearl Jam tours and personal travels through the years, encompassing people, art, architecture and concerts. Among the celebrities that show up in candid shots are fellow musicians Neil Young, Questlove, Paul McCartney, Sting, Dave Grohl, Bono, Jack White and Lady Gaga, as well as actor Dustin Hoffman, tennis legend Venus Williams and others.

In other news, Pearl Jam will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on April 7 during a ceremony at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The band ran into some controversy when the only two drummers among the originally announced inductees were Dave Krusen, who played on the Pearl Jam’s breakthrough debut, Ten, and current member Matt Cameron. Subsequently, the band said it would also invite Matt Chamberlain, Dave Abbruzzese and Jack Irons, who’ve also manned the PJ drum kit at one time or another.
