CNN; ABC/Craig SjodinPearl Jam opened their European tour in Amsterdam Tuesday night, and dedicated the concert to Anthony Bourdain. The 61-year-old celebrity chef, writer and TV personality died last Friday, June 8 of apparent suicide.

Additionally, Eddie Vedder announced that the show would also be dedicated to “my friend David and his brother Andrew,” presumably referring to actor David Spade and his brother Andrew Spade. David and Andrew are the brother-in-law and husband, respectively, of famed fashion designer Kate Spade, who also died of apparent suicide last week. She was 55.

Following the dedications, Pearl Jam launched into their song “Long Road.” You can watch fan-shot footage of the performance now on YouTube.

Pearl Jam’s European tour continues Wednesday with a second show in Amsterdam. The band will return stateside for a U.S. stadium run beginning August 8 in Seattle.
