Capitol RecordsAfter several days of teases on social media, Paul McCartney has announced that he’s releasing not one but two new songs on Wednesday.

Described as a double A-side single, the two songs are the first tastes of a new studio album that Macca will release later this year.  One song, “I Don’t Know,” is described as a “soul-soothing ballad,” while the other song, “Come On to Me,” is described as a “raucous” and “rocking” “stomper.”

The Beatles legend debuted “Come On to Me” during his surprise gig for 50 people at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Pub, footage of which will air this week on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Sir Paul’s new album is due this fall, and more details will be announced soon.
