Paul McCartney adds San Jose, CA, concert to his 2019 tour

If not, he better find out by July 10, 2019, when he’s scheduled to play a newly announced concert in the California city at the SAP Center, the arena that serves as the home of the National Hockey League’s San Jose Sharks.

With the addition of the San Jose concert, the U.S. leg of McCartney’s 2019 Freshen Up Tour now includes a baker’s dozen worth of shows.

Tickets for the event go on sale to the public on Monday, December 17, at 10 a.m. PT. PaulMcCartney.com and American Express card members will be able to purchase advance tickets starting Wednesday, December 12, at 10 a.m. local time.

The last time the ex-Beatles star did a show in the San Francisco Bay area was in August 2014, when he played the last-ever concert at Candlestick Park before it was demolished.

Sir Paul’S upcoming U.S. trek kicks off May 23 in New Orleans and currently is mapped out through a July 13 show in Los Angeles. The Freshen Up Tour is in support of McCartney’s latest studio album, Egypt Station, which was released in September.
