ABC/Randy HolmesThis past Saturday marked the 37th anniversary of Ozzy Osbourne biting the head off a bat during a show. To commemorate the occasion, the Prince of Darkness is selling a plush toy bat…with a detachable head.

“Today marks the 37th Anniversary since I bit a head off a f***ing bat!” Ozzy wrote over the weekend. “Celebrate with this commemorative plush with detachable head.”

You can order you’re own Ozzy bat now via Store.Ozzy.com. The toys start shipping in March.

In more heartwarming Ozzy Osbourne news, the metal icon sent the commemorative platinum records for his solo albums Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman to drummer Lee Kerslake, who’s terminally ill with cancer and says he has to eight months to live.

In an interview with The Metal Voice in December, Kerslake, who played on both those albums, said that he wrote Ozzy a letter asking if he could send him the platinum certifications before he died. “It’s on my bucket list,” Kerslake said.

This past Friday, Osbourne posted a Facebook photo of Kerslake sitting with his newly received platinum records.

“I’m so glad that Lee Kerslake is enjoying his Blizzard and Diary platinum albums,” Ozzy wrote. “I hope you feel better.”
