Eleven Seven Music Nikki Sixx‘s current band Sixx:A.M. has launched #ReasontoRise, a campaign that urges people to “look at their surroundings, see injustices, and stand up to them,” a message that builds on the theme of the group’s single “Rise.”
“Throughout history, some of the most dramatic changes have occurred when people reject the status quo and demand change, a sentiment completely encompassed by the musicianship, lyrics and passion of ‘Rise,'” says Sixx in a statement.
As a part of the campaign, Sixx:A.M. is asking you to share what makes “raise [your] fists and act” using the hashtag #ReasontoRise.
“Rise” is a track from Sixx:A.M.’s forthcoming album, Prayers for the Damned, which will be released April 29. The single currently sits in the top 10 on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Songs chart.
