Nickelback had planned to be rocking “Rockstar” all across the U.S. this summer during their 15th anniversary All the Right Reasons tour, but those plans were made in pre-pandemic world. Instead, we’ve got to settle for an acoustic, quarantined version of the tune.

The Canadian rockers have premiered an unplugged version of “Rockstar” featuring frontman Chad Kroeger and guitarist Ryan Peake strumming along together while isolating in their respective homes. You can watch the performance streaming now on YouTube.

Nickelback previously shared an acoustic, quarantined version of “How You Remind Me” back in May.

The 15th anniversary All the Right Reasons tour was scheduled to kick off in June, but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Stone Temple Pilots, Switchfoot and Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown were also on the bill.
