New Rolling Stones Concert Film “Havana Moon” Coming Out on DVD & Blu-ray in November

Eagle Rock EntertainmentHavana Moon, the new concert film documenting The Rolling Stones‘ historic free show in Havana, Cuba, that took place this past March, debuted recently as a one-night-only screening event in a variety of countries. Now, fans in the U.S. — and elsewhere — will be able to enjoy the movie in the privacy of their own home, when the flick is released in multiple formats and configurations November 11.

Havana Moon will be available on DVD, Blu-ray, as a multiple-disc package featuring either a DVD or Blu-ray along with a two-CD companion album, and as a digital download. In addition, a DVD/three-LP vinyl set will be sold, as will a special Deluxe Edition of the release.

The Rolling Stones’ free Havana show was held this year on Good Friday, March 26, in front of hundreds of thousands of music lovers. Among the many classic songs the British rock legends played were “Brown Sugar,” “Honky Tonk Women,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Paint It Black,” “Sympathy for the Devil,” “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” and “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.”

The movie was shot in high-definition and was directed by Paul Dugdale, the same filmmaker behind the recent documentary The Rolling Stones Olé Olé Olé!: A Trip Across Latin America.
