The movie, titled David Crosby: Remember My Name, was directed by A.J. Eaton and presents a candid portrait of the 77-year-old folk-rock legend. A synopsis of the doc on Sundance.org reads: “With unflinching honesty, self-examination, regret, fear, exuberance and an unshakable belief in family and the transformative nature of music, Crosby shares his often challenging journey.”

Other music-related documentaries slated to debut at next year’s Sundance fest include Marianne & Leonard: Words of Love and Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool. The first tells the story of late Canadian singer/songwriter and poet Leonard Cohen‘s long romantic relationship with Marianne Ihlen, the Norwegian woman who inspired many of his famous songs. The second offers of profile of the life and music of late jazz icon Miles Davis.

No specific premiere dates for the films have been announced yet. Festival screenings will be held in Park City, in Salt Lake City and at the Sundance Mountain Resort.
