Metallica shares footage of live debut for “Hardwired” track “Dream No More”

ABC/Randy HolmesMetallica‘s track “Dream No More,” which appears on their new album Hardwired…to Self-Destruct, made its live debut over the weekend during the band’s show in Mexico City. In case you weren’t at the show, you can watch official footage of the performance now on YouTube.

“Now something really heavy,” frontman James Hetfield said before launching into “Dream No More.”

Metallica played three shows in Mexico City last week in support of Hardwired…to Self-Destruct. “Dream No More” made its debut during the final show of the run on Sunday, March 5, which also featured an on-stage collaboration between Metallica and Iggy Pop.

Metallica will be touring stadiums across the U.S. this spring and summer in support of Hardwired…to Self-Destruct, starting May 10 in Baltimore.
