Metallica has announced a 2020 South American stadium run as part of the band’s ongoing WorldWired international tour.

The trek, which will feature support from Greta Van Fleet, kicks off April 15 in Santiago, Chile, and will include a stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, following four shows in Brazil.

As with other legs of the WorldWired tour, Metallica will be offering their Wherever I May Roam Black Ticket for the South American shows.  The ticket allows you floor access to any and all dates on the tour for a single price of $598.

The South American shows are the first 2020 dates of the WorldWired tour to be announced. The trek, which is in support of Metallica’s latest album, Hardwired…to Self-Destruct, began all the way back in 2016.

Metallica is currently on tour in Europe, and will return to the U.S. in September for two orchestra-accompanied shows in San Francisco, which will be shot for the upcoming concert film S&M2. They’ll then head to Australia and New Zealand for a tour with support from Slipknot.
