ABC/Randy HolmesMetallica has announced a benefit concert in support of the band’s charity organization, All Within My Hands. The show will take place November 3 at the Masonic in the band’s hometown of San Francisco.
The event will feature a rare acoustic performance from the metal legends, as well as an opening unplugged set from Cage the Elephant.

Metallica launched All Within My Hands in 2017. In its first sixth months, the foundation donated more than $750,000 to local food banks. On their current North American tour, the band is donating $10,000 to food banks in each city they visit.
