ISO/Columbia Records“When I Met You” and “No Plan,” two of the three final songs David Bowie ever recorded, were given their world premiere Tuesday on BBC Radio, and now the third track, “Killing a Little Time,” has premiered exclusively on the late rock legend’s official website.
The song features heavy jazz-fusion influences, with Bowie crooning intense, poetic lyrics accompanied by hard-driving drums, wailing saxophone, overdriven guitar and flourishes of piano.
As previously reported, all three tunes are included on the cast album for Lazarus, the recent stage production Bowie co-wrote with Once playwright Enda Walsh, which will be released this Friday, October 21. The Lazarus Cast Album is available for pre-order as a two-CD set, a three-LP vinyl collection, a limited-edition colored-vinyl release and a digital download.
