Jackson Browne to headline Vermont’s Grand Point North festival in September

Credit: Brandise DaneswichJackson Browne has joined the lineup of the 2018 Grand Point North festival, taking place September 15 and 16 at Waterfront Park in Burlington, Vermont. Browne will headline the first day of the fest, along with the two-day event’s co-founder and host, roots rocker Grace Potter.

Other artists set to perform at Grand Point North this year include Black Crowes spinoff group The Magpie Salute, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and Ani DiFranco. The festival also features food provided by local restaurants and companies, an art installation, yoga and more.

Browne will perform as a duo with his longtime musical collaborator Greg Leisz, who also is a member of Jackson’s touring band.

First up for Browne is a summer tour that will visit a variety of cities in the Western U.S. The trek is mapped out from a July 11 concert in San Diego through an August 4 show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Jackson will play with his full backing band at these performances.
