Guns N’ Roses to settle lawsuit against brewery selling “Guns ‘N’ Rosé” beer

Guns N’ Roses‘ trademark infringement case against a brewery that’s been selling a beer called “Guns ‘N’ Rosé” is headed towards a settlement, lawyers for the rock legends confirm to ABC Radio.

According to docs obtained by The Blast, GN’R has “been engaged in settlement discussions” and “reached an agreement in principle” with the Canarchy Craft Brewery Collective, which will lead to the lawsuit’s dismissal.

Guns first filed the complaint against the Colorado-based Oskar Blues Brewery, which is part of the Canarchy Collective, in May. The band claimed that the company began selling the Guns ‘N’ Rosé ale in 2018 without the band’s “approval, license or consent,” and continued to do so even after a GN’R business manager reached out to request a stop in production of the beer and associated merchandise.

The suit asked that Oskar Blues be blocked from continuing to make or sell the Guns ‘N’ Rosé beer and merch, and that all products with the name be delivered to the band “for destruction.”

The exact details of the settlement are unknown.
