Foo Fighters release new song “Soldier” for Planned Parenthood benefit compilation

Credit: Brantley GutierrezFoo Fighters just released their album Concrete and Gold last month, but they’ve already shared a new song. The track is called “Soldier,” and it’s available now for digital download.

“Soldier” was recorded for a compilation album released to benefit Planned Parenthood. The collection, titled 7-Inches for Planned Parenthood, also includes material by Chvrches, Bjork, Sleater-Kinney, John Legend, Common, Feist, St. Vincent and Mary J Blige, as well as comedians Sarah Silverman, Zach Galifianakis and Jenny Slate.

7-Inches for Planned Parenthood is out digitally now, and will be released as a vinyl box set on November 17.

Foo Fighters are currently touring North America in support of Concrete and Gold.
