ABC/Travis BellFoo Fighters have been going strong for nearly 25 years now, and, at this point, Dave Grohl doesn’t see the train coming to a stop.

According to Billboard, Grohl spoke about his band’s longevity at the Pollstar Live conference this week, and explained why the Foos aren’t planning on breaking up.

“For the first 20 years of our band it was, let’s make another record and that’s probably going to do it,” Grohl said. “Let’s get one more in there and call it a day.”

He continued, “Then it gets to the point to where I refer to it like imagine your grandparents getting a divorce. I’m sure it happens sometimes, but why? You can’t break up. Who even cares any more? Just go play shows.”

Foo Fighters will continue to do just that this spring, starting May 12 at North Carolina’s Epicenter festival.
