Foo Fighters launching youth music education program in the UK

ABC/Randy HolmesFoo Fighters are launching a new youth music education program, in collaboration with the U.K.’s Rocksteady Music School.

On Saturday, February 16, music stores across the U.K. will be hosting free, Foo-themed music lessons for children aged 5 to 16. The class promises to teach you how to play a Foo Fighters riff or beat in just 30 minutes, regardless of whether you’ve ever played an instrument before in your life.

The program was inspired by frontman Dave Grohl‘s new solo composition Play, a 23-minute track on which he plays every instrument.

One person who’d likely love to participate is actor Paul Rudd, who was filmed joyously headbanging during a Foo Fighters show in Atlanta over the weekend. However, as ageless as the Ant-Man star appears to be, he sadly does not fall within the required age range.
