Foo Fighters, Judas Priest to perform at inaugural Epicenter festival this May in North Carolina

Credit: Brantley GutierrezFoo Fighters and Judas Priest are among the many hard-rock acts that will perform at the inaugural Epicenter festival, held May 10-12 in Richmond County, North Carolina.

Foo Fighters will headline the third day of the event, while Korn will headline day one and Tool day two of the festival. Priest also will play on the second day. In addition, the lineup includes Rob Zombie, The Cult, 311, Evanescence, Bush, Live, Mastodon, Black Label Society, The Prodigy, Killswitch Engage, Tom Morello and many more.

In other Foo and North Carolina-related news, frontman Dave Grohl debuted his 23-minute Play project live over the weekend at ex-Allman Brothers Band guitarist Warren Haynes‘ 2018 Christmas Jam festival in Asheville. For the performance, Grohl’s backing band including his Them Crooked Vultures band mate Alain JohannesConcrete and Gold producer Greg Kurstin and Jane’s Addiction bassist Chris Chaney, among others.
