Roswell Records/RCA RecordsFoo Fighters are celebrating the release of their new album, Concrete and Gold, with a miniature, animated documentary detailing how the record came together.

In the six-minute clip, a cartoon Dave Grohl narrates how he met Greg Kurstin, who’s worked with Adele and Sia, and asked him to produce Concrete and Gold. He also describes how people like Justin Timberlake, Alison Mosshart of The Kills, and Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men ended up guesting on the album. You can watch the doc now on YouTube.

Concrete and Gold, which features the singles “Run” and “The Sky Is a Neighborhood,” is out today. Foo Fighters will kick off a North American tour in support of the album October 7 in San Bernardino, California, with their own Cal Jam 17 festival.
