Five Finger Death Punch officially cancels postponed shows; guitarist Jason Hook “back in fighting shape”

Five Finger Death Punch has officially canceled a trio of previously postponed shows from last December.

The concerts, set to take place in Duluth, Minnesota, Omaha, Nebraska and Des Moines, Iowa, were initially delayed due to guitarist Jason Hook‘s need for emergency gallbladder removal surgery.

“We tried to find a solution to reschedule but there’s currently no date where all bands on the bill are available,” Death Punch writes in an Instagram post. “With that said, we love you guys and thank you for the outpouring of support.”

The good news is that Hook has recovered from surgery and is “back in fighting shape.”

“The band will be back on the road again soon and we will try our best to come back to you soon,” the post reads.

Refunds to the canceled shows are available at point of purchase.

Next week, Five Finger Death Punch will launch a European tour with Megadeth and Bad Wolves. They’ll release a new album, F8, on February 28, and will launch a U.S. tour with Papa Roach, I Prevail and Ice Nine Kills in April.
