A quartet of well-known hard rockers have teamed up to form a new band called A New Revenge, which will release its debut album, Enemies & Lovers, on March 29. The group features one-time Judas Priest singer Tim “Ripper” Owens, ex-Scorpions drummer James Kottak, former Alice Cooper guitarist Keri Kelli and bassist Rudy Sarzo, who has played with Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne, Dio, Whitesnake and many others.

The lead single from the album, “The Way,” is available now as a digital download, and the band has debuted an accompanying video for the song on the Golden Robot Records YouTube channel.

In a short video documentary about the band, Kelli reveals that he and Kottak decided to form A New Revenge after they became friends while touring together as respective members of Cooper’s band and The Scorpions. Kelli then recruited Owens to join the project.

“At first it was just a jam band, kind of playing the hits of all the bands — Scorpions, Ozzy, Alice, Priest, etc.” Keri explains. “But then we started working on our own songs and it just kind of started evolving from there.”

Regarding Enemies & Lovers, the guitarist says, “We did work very hard on the record. It wasn’t like something that we put together and said, ‘Hey, let’s do this in two weeks, and we need to come up with 10 songs.’ I mean, we took our time trying to really work on the tunes to make great choruses and cool catchy songs, but still with some edge.”

A New Revenge will be touring in North America and Europe later this year. According to Owens, the band will be playing all of Enemies & Lovers‘ songs, as well as select tunes from the members’ previous groups.

Here’s the album’s track list:

“The Distance Between”
“The Way”
“Never Let You Go”
“Glorious”
“The Eyes”
“Fallen”
“Only the Pretty Ones”
“Enemies & Lovers”
“Here’s to Us”
“Scars”
