Earlier this year, Diana Ross launched a year-long celebration dubbed Diamond Diana in honor of her forthcoming 75th birthday. Now the Motown legend has scheduled a special concert on the big day, Tuesday, March 26, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
The show, called “Diamond Diana & Family & Friends 75th Birthday Celebration,” will feature the former Supremes frontwoman performing classic songs from throughout her career, and family members and special guests will join her.
Fans attending the concert are encouraged to wear “beads, sequins and feathers” to the bash. Tickets for the show go in sale this Friday, March 8, at 10 p.m. PT at LiveNation.com. The concert will be a late-night event, with doors opening at 10 p.m. and the performance slated to begin at 11:30 p.m.
Ross’ 2019 plans also include a variety of other confirmed concerts, among them a May 4 performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, a six-date Las Vegas residency at the Wynn resort and casino in June and a June 22 show at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
