Credit: Kevin NixonDef Leppard has announced its first North American concerts of 2019: a run of summer shows in Canada. The trek kicks off July 12 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and is plotted out through a July 31 performance in Calgary, Alberta.

The U.K. hard rockers will be joined by Tesla on the outing. Tickets for all the shows are on sale now. Prior to the Canadian tour, Def Leppard will play a series of concerts in Europe throughout June and in early July.

By the time Def Leppard hits the road, they will be full-fledged members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The band will be inducted, along with Stevie Nicks, The Zombies, Roxy Music, The Cure, Radiohead and Janet Jackson, at a ceremony held March 29 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

In other Def Leppard news, guitarist Vivian Campbell will take part in a charity event in Los Angeles presented by Rocker Collective, a group that includes members of pop star Pink‘s touring band.

The show, scheduled for February 4 at El Cid restaurant and club, will include a concert, a dinner party featuring a three-course meal and photo opportunities with the musicians.  All proceeds will benefit Create Now, which helps provide arts programs to vulnerable children in Southern California.
