Jimmy King; Rob ShanahanThe late David Bowie and famed Beatles drummer Ringo Starr and are among the music stars who will appear in the 2017 edition of the Guinness World Records book. Bowie is being recognized for the albums he sold, while Starr’s record is in acknowledgment for one particularly pricey record that sold at an auction.

Earlier this year, Bowie set a posthumous world record for having the most simultaneous entries in the U.K. albums chart, when 19 of his releases appeared on the tally shortly after his January 10 death. Ten of those albums landed in the chart’s top 40.

As for Starr, he set the mark for the most expensive vinyl record sold at auction, when his first pressing of The Beatles’ self-titled 1968 album, a.k.a. The White Album, brought in $790,000 at a December 2015 memorabilia sale in Los Angeles. Ringo’s copy of double-LP was a mono edition of the record that was numbered “0000001,” and was in near-mint condition, having been stored in a vault for almost 35 years.
