Chris Cornell to Search for “Higher Truth” in South America

ABC/Randy HolmesChris Cornell has announced a South American tour in support of his latest solo album, Higher Truth. The seven-date trek begins November 28 in Santiago, Chile, and will bring the Soundgarden frontman through Peru, Brazil and Argentina. Visit ChrisCornell.com for ticket info.

Like with his previous Higher Truth shows, the South American tour set lists will consist of Cornell’s solo material, as well as tracks by Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog.

Prior to the South American trek, Cornell and his Soundgarden band mate Matt Cameron will reunite with Pearl Jam‘s Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard and Mike McCready for the first ever Temple of the Dog tour, which kicks off November 4 in Philadelphia. Following his trip below the equator, Cornell will return to the U.S. for two shows at the famed Belly Up in Aspen, Colorado, on December 23 and 27.
