Chris Cornell helps narrate new documentary about veteran rocker Alain Johannes

ABC/Randy HolmesThe late Chris Cornell and Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme narrate a new documentary about the life and career of Chilean-born musician and producer Alain Johannes.

The film, titled Unfinished Plan: The Path of Alain Johannes, will be screening from December 14 to December 20 at Laemmle’s Glendale Theatre in Los Angeles.

Johannes has frequently collaborated with Queens of the Stone Age, and also worked with Homme in the supergroup Them Crooked Vultures, which also featured Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones and Foo Fighters frontman/ex-Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl. As for his connection to Cornell, Alaines worked with the Soundgarden frontman on his 1999 solo debut, Euphoria Mourning.

Other Johannes collaborators who contribute to the film include Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron and Ben Shepherd, and ex-Screaming Trees frontman Mark Lanegan.
