Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi are among the celebrity New Jersey natives and/or residents featured in a new YouTube video announcing the launch of the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund.

The charity is seeking online donations that will be used to aid vulnerable citizens of the Garden State in need of medical, social and economic assistance because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the two-minute clip, which begins with an introduction from Tammy Murphy, wife of New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, Springsteen says, “These are uncertain times. What is for certain is the pain, the fear and the real needs of many of our neighbors, our friends, and certainly all of those who are on the front lines of this pandemic.”

Bruce also appears in a few other video segments, noting, “We are practicing social distancing. We are staying at home…We need to pull together and start the healing at home…So please help the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund.”

As for Bon Jovi, he says in one segment, “We’re staying at home, but what more can we do?”

We then see Late Show host Stephen Colbert, who says, “We know that there’s so many whose lives have been pended, and who are already or soon will be looking for help,” followed again by Bon Jovi, who adds, “So we’re asking our Garden State, New Jersey, to band together.”

Other celebs featured in the video include Danny DeVito, Jon Stewart, Whoopi Goldberg, soccer star Carli Lloyd, and pop singer/songwriter Charlie Puth.
