With 75 percent of the original Pumpkins lineup reuniting, many wondered if the last quarter of the band, bassist D’arcy Wretzky, would also return.

Now, Corgan has fanned the reunion rumor flames further with a new Facebook video in which he says “there’s some big stuff happening” with The Smashing Pumpkins.

“We’re making plans,” Corgan says. “So I can’t give that away, but it’s gonna be interesting.”

Also in the Facebook video, the singer/guitarist says that he’s completed work on a solo album, and that he and current Smashing Pumpkins guitarist Jeff Schroeder have started a new band that will sound “much different than Pumpkins music.”
