earMusicIn June 2007, Lynyrd Skynyrd and some special guests played a concert in Atlantic City, New Jersey, that was captured for the VH1 series Decades Rock Live! Now that show is being released under the title Live in Atlantic City on September 21 as a live album and home video in multiple configurations.

The Southern rock legends played a set that included many of their classic songs, and were joined for select tunes by modern rockers 3 Doors Down, country star Hank Williams Jr. and American Idol season four runner-up Bo Bice. Each guests performed one of their own songs and one or more of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s tunes with the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers.

Skynyrd also welcomed all three artists to the stage for a rendition of their signature tune “Sweet Home Alabama.”

The 70-minute performance has been newly mixed and mastered.

Live in Atlantic City will be available as a CD/Blu-ray digipak, a two-LP vinyl set, a DVD, a Blu-ray and a digital download. The vinyl package also will offer access to a free download of the album. The DVD and Blu-ray will include a bonus behind-the-scenes documentary called Lynyrd Skynyrd Confidential.
