Andrew Lipovsky/NBCJimmy Fallon may have let “Sweet Emotion” take over last night when Aerosmith rocked The Tonight Show. At the end of their high-energy performance of “Mama Kin,” Fallon outro’ed the band, plugged their upcoming Las Vegas residency, and then blurted, “Catch them performing Monday on the VMAs!”
That information hasn’t been reported anywhere else. If that turns out to be the case, Aerosmith will be the hardest rockers on the bill….at least so far. The pop and hip-hop heavy broadcast is set to include Ariana Grande, Panic! At the Disco, and rappers Nicki Minaj, Cardi B and Post Malone, among others.
The MTV VMAs will air live from New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on Monday at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
