Bret Michaels hits the road in November with Night Ranger, Lita Ford, and country star Joe Nichols to honor our “Hometown Heroes”. Sioux City’s Classic Rock 99.5 wants you to nominate YOUR Hometown Hero for a chance to win the ultimate fan experience when Michaels’ performs at the Tyson Events Center on November 8.
To enter, submit your info and a brief description of your hero and your nomination.
HERE’S HOW YOU NOMINATE:
Think about someone in your community that helps out in any way others who need assistance. Even those who just help or do things especially when no one else sees them. This can be anyone. The person who carries your packages, lends you an umbrella, always holds the door for you when your arms are full, stops to help change a tire….things that, perhaps small, make a difference!
Tell us in an email, letter or drop off a note at our station. Post on our Facebook page if you like. All we need is their name and the city/town they live in and a paragraph or two describing the good stuff they do often without recognition. Best way to nominate your Hometown Hero is here!
Five (5) nominations will be selected at random and read on air. Each nomination selected will receive two (2) Premium Tickets to the concert on November 8, One (1) merchandise goodie package, recognition on stage night of the concert in front of the community, and after show meet & greet with Bret Michaels.
“Heroes” can be ANYONE who makes a difference in the lives of the communities they serve or in recognition of an heroic act. Police officers, fire dept, paramedics and first responders, emergency room doctors and nurses, teachers, active service military and veterans. Many of the forgotten heroes include the people who provide service at the local shelters and food banks. The utility workers who keep our water, power and gas on often working in dangerous conditions. The school crossing guards who protect our kids on a daily basis.
