As with the previous nine events, the list of releases for this year’s Record Store Day is stuffed with exclusive releases, mostly on vinyl, from a variety of classic-rock acts, including The Doors, Paul McCartney, Rush and U2.

The Doors’ Record Store Day offering is Live at The Matrix, an LP that features newly remastered performances from the band’s March 7, 1967, show at the San Francisco club.

Paul McCartney will be releasing a limited-edition cassette that day featuring demos of three songs he and Elvis Costello wrote and recorded together during the sessions for Paul’s 1989 studio album Flowers in the Dirt

Rush will issue a 12-inch EP titled Cygnus X-1, which features “Book I” and “Book II” of the prog-rock trio’s extended piece “Cygnus X-1,” from the 1977 album A Farewell to Kings.

U2’s Record Store Day release is a 12-inch picture disc featuring a new mix of “Red Hill Mining Town” done by producer Steve Lillywhite. The disc celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Irish rockers’ classic album The Joshua Tree.

Other artists that are releasing limited-edition vinyl discs for the 2017 Record Store Day promotion include Alice in Chains, The Beatles, David Bowie, The Cars, Cheap Trick, David Crosby, Def Leppard, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Fleetwood Mac, The Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, The Kinks, Motorhead, Stevie Nicks, Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, Procol Harum, The Ramones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lou Reed, Todd Rundgren, Santana, Bob Seger, Patti Smith, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Neil Young, Yes, Frank Zappa and The Zombies.
